exposed stone walls and beamed ceilings.
The gite is on two floors – a spacious
lounge offers two comfy sofas with SatelliteTV (offering free
to view channels) DVD player with selection of movies
and a CD/Radio player.
The separate kitchen/diner is bright, modern and equipped
with all the appliances you need in a ‘home from
home’ including cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing
machine, toaster etc. The door at the back of the kitchen
leads out to a small terrace and the rear garden. In
the dining area is a large tiled top table with six
chairs.
The two spacious bedrooms are reached by a wooden
spiral staircase from the lounge area on to a large
landing.
Bedrooms are furnished
with built in wardrobes and offer one king
sized double bedroom overlooking the front garden and chestnut
trees
and one twin room which overlooks the
side courtyard. On this floor there is a large bathroom with bath, shower over, wc and basin. To
the side of the property is a gravelled courtyard,
furnished with a table, chairs and barbeque equipment,
with a unique Catalpa tree in the centre.
The front of the property looks out onto the extensive
gardens of Le Gabachou, which lead directly down
to the banks of the Canal du Midi.
The gite sleeps up to 4 guests.
