Our Four Holiday Gîtes

Domaine Le Gabachou offers a choice of four comfortable and well presented holiday gîtes near Carcassonne. The gîtes, La Maison D’Olives, Le Tournesol, Le Gabachou and L'Atelier offer peace and tranquillity, coupled with all the comforts you would expect in a real self-catering ‘home from home’. Guests are of course free to enjoy the 3 acre garden and swimming pool.

La Maison d’Olives

A generous 2 bedroomed holiday gîte over 2 floors. Beamed ceilings, a wooden spiral staircase and 2 very large bedrooms,tThe 2nd of which, as well as a queen-sized double bed it has a 3’6” (105cm) single bed as well for greater flexibility. A recently refurbished large family bathroom. Downstairs a comfortable large sitting area and throughway to kitchen/dining area. Plenty of storage space in wardrobes and chests of drawers.

Le Tournesol

This is a one bedroomed, ground floor gîte, the room above is not used and there is no access to it. It is light and airy, painted in the lovely sunshine colours of its namesake. It has a large open living area, a fully-equipped kitchen, large bedroom and a recently renovated shower-room. The lounge has a sofa-bed for a third adult or child. Plenty of storage space in the bedroom.

Le Gabachou

This is our 3-bedroomed gîte, comprising of the large main bedroom with en-suite, a further large double bedroom, a single bedroom and a separate wc on the landing. There is a 2nd shower room with wash basin and wc downstairs. A cosy lounge and a large fully-equipped family kitchen. All bedrooms have wardrobes and chests of drawers.

L’Atelier

This one-bedroomed gîte was completed in 2012, and is our smallest gîte, but has a spacious feel about it. It has its own paved courtyard separating it from the main building which is a delightful little sitting area shaded by a magnificent catalpa tree.
